Me-I / Tv on the Radio

En faisant le ménage de mes vieux cd, j'ai retrouvé la compilation Warm and Scratchy, downloadée sur un site légal il y a de cela quelques années. Quelle joie de réécouter Me-I de Tv on the Radio!

En utilisant un amalgame de techniques d'animation, le réalisateur Daniel Garcia réussit à nous transporter dans un univers de rêveries, pas très loin du subconscient de Jean de Lafontaine. Un lieu où les pigeons jouent de l'harmonica pour trouver sommeil et les sandwichs vous attaquent avec un couteau. Poétique.

Le clip s'est promené dans quelques festivals et a remporté Meilleur Vidéo Clip au festival de musique SXSW en 2008.

À écouter en pyjama (de préférence).

I was cleaning up my old pile of cds when I found the Warm and Scratchy compilation . And on it, a weird track of Tv on the Radio, Me-I. Joy!

Using different animation techniques, Garcia brings us in a world of fluffy dreams, where pigeons play the harmonica and sandwiches attack you with knives. Probably inspired by Jean de Lafontaine's subconscious!

This music video has travelled in a few film festivals and was awarded "Best Music Video" at the 2008 SXSW Festival.

Warning: Must be watched while wearing a pj.
