Petit groupe composé de frères et d’amis, Mitchell Museum vient de sortir leur premier album auto-produit. Ça sonne frais, les chansons respirent bien et ça se marie parfaitement avec un petit rosé sur le balcon, pour la visite. (L’histoire veut que Rought Trade voulait les signer, mais un membre du groupe a fait à croire au label que Nigel Godrich allait produire l ‘album!) Qu’à cela ne tienne, le groupe a foncé et a sorti l’album The Peters Port Memorial Service sous l'étiquette Electra French.
Reste juste à leur souhaiter de croiser sur leur chemin un réalisateur dégourdi qui saura rendre justice à leur musique car pour l'instant, leurs clips sont un brin ternes et peu élaborés. Hum, j'ai quelques noms à leur suggérer. Et vous?

The band recently released their first album, The Peters Port Memorial Service, on the label Electra French. Rumour has it that Rough Trade was interested in the band, but stops their attempt when one the members said that Nigel Godrich would produce their album (which wasn’t true).
Next move for the band should be to find a décent music vidéo director that will understand their sound and put it into motion. Romain Gabras or Michel Gondry, where are you when we need you!!!
